The purpose of this study is to fill the gap by investigating the relationship between age and other demographics on decision-making and leadership styles of executives in the non-profit sector. This study is a quantitative research using correlation analysis and analysis of variance. The quantitative approach establishes facts, makes predictions and tests stated hypothesis and used the Pearson correlation coefficient, the ANOVA and the two-way analysis of variance. This study used surveys to collect data. H1 states that there will be no significant difference in the decision-making models used among non-profit organizational leaders rational, intuitive, dependent, spontaneous and avoidant based on demographic variables: gender and age. H2 states that there will be no significant difference in the leadership style used among non-profit organizational executives selling, telling, delegating and participating and different dimensions of demographic variables: gender and age. This study explored the relationship between the demographics, age and gender and the decision-making models rational, intuitive, dependent, spontaneous and avoidant and leadership styles selling, telling, delegating and participating of executives in non-profit organizations.

A Guide to Literature Review

The purpose of this paper is to review some considerations about a small scale research study conducted in a small town in Northern Italy between December and April , that gathered quantitative and qualitative data about adolescents aged 11 to 19 who answered 20 questions on their experiences, expectations and perspectives on library use and services. Teenagers have proved to be a demanding and challenging public, with clear ideas regarding innovation of services and implementation of resources. The group participating in the survey was about 50 per cent on the total targeted population. Results show that surveys about library services can be of value in order to tailor services to actual and unexpressed needs of a target users' group. The survey has provided grounds for discussions within different categories of stakeholders such as administrators, carers, educators, and librarians. The results show that maintenance and implementation of services should be founded both on theoretical principles and evidence based practice.

A search of the scientific literature becomes paramount because the research question that motivates research generally comes first in the history of a research discipline. Some researchers often minimise this step. Sometimes they mistakenly believe that their problems are so novel that past literature will not apply. But all too often they simply do not give enough importance to the way in which their literature review will help. They underestimate past work and sell short the future requirements of their science.
