It was clearly writtten in the s and the author's mindset dates from that era as well. For example, it describes Business Process Rengineering as "new" and that "e-business has great potential for business to business transactions".
Sprinkling in a handful of newer references in the text isn't enough to make this relevant for today's world. So I'd recommend you skip this one.
